Academician ROBERT HOWARD GRUBBS, IntelliMicro’s shareholder and chairman of the scientific advisory board, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2005, passed away in the United States on December 19, 2021 at the age of 79.
Academician ROBERT is one of the world’s top expert in biomaterials. He is mainly engaged in research of organic chemistry and polymer chemistry. The “GRUBBS catalyst” developed by him is particularly prominent in the synthesis of polycyclic compounds and polycyclic addition polymers. Academician ROBERT is the technical responsible person in charge of the research and development of IntelliMicro’s “IMIE Intelligent Vision Implant” and nerve electrical stimulation series products. His fruitful results and leading technology in biomaterials have made an indelible contribution to the successful launch of the “IMIE Project” and laid a solid foundation for the finalization and marketization of nerve electrical stimulation products. He spent his entire life to the advancement and iteration of the biomaterials industry and help the development of the health industry for all mankind.
The death of Academician ROBERT is a great regret and loss to IntelliMicro and the industry, the society, and even the whole world. The meaning of the existence of life is never stop exploring, this meaning exists forever, human will not stop exploring steps. Despite the death of the superstar, Academician ROBERT’s innovation and pioneering spirit will last in IntelliMicro and lead IntelliMicro to a bigger stage, bringing hope to more disabled friends in need around the world.
